friendship part two (you may want to read part one first)

So this morning i get up extra early because i want to do something nice for colleen. I run into walmart to buy her some flowers and a vase. i pick them out and pay for them and go into the bathroom to fill the vase with water. The faucets are the motion censored and out of 3 sinks not one worked. I ended up getting some water from the drinking fountain. not wanting to be late for work i hurry to pick up Kristy. obeying all traffic laws on the way. :0)
I pull up to Kristy's house and use her garbage can for a table to trim the stems using the knife from my 72 hour kit. Miss preparedness you know. As I am trimming the flowers i get bombarded by a couple of bees trying to get to the flowers. I get the stems trimmed as fast as i can, put the flowers in the car. I clean up the stem mess and get into the car to notice that a bee is in the car. I reach over to open the passenger side door to let the bee out and knock over the vase and fill the passenger seat with water just as Kristy walks up to the car. Luckily i have a blanket in the back seat for her to sit on. Man I am really prepared huh!
I will admit right now i like to bake. I don't do flowers. Kristy kept looking at them and i asked her if the arrangement was driving her nuts. She is kind of a perfectionist when it comes to stuff like that. (I new it would drive her nuts so i had a bag and the knife ready just in case she had an urge to fix the arrangement hee hee)
so here's to true friendship. Someone who can laugh with you when you run out of gas. Some one who can save you when you run out of gas. Some one who loves you enough that when you have gas they will still arrange your flowers for you.

Sorry it took me a while to get to these friendship posts. What a hilarious funny frustrating story!

Dont' stop blogging. Remember it's for you though, and if you dont' want to do it, don't. I am working on turning my kid's blog into a book, though so keep in mind that someday you could print this as a journal of sorts....

Thanks for the tips on friendship. I would like to think I am a good friend to my friends. I could always do better though.
